Photo Naming Assistant Pro

Photo Naming Assistant was designed to quickly give unique, consistent, and meaningful names to digital photo files while minimizing the work on the user\'s part. The application is customizable to allow flexibility in building the photo names for individual photos or a whole folder of photos.

The application comes with 16 built in photo naming patterns. Users can create an unlimited number of additional photo naming patterns that can include a combination of the picture taken date, photo file metadata, parts of the original file name, where to insert the base name, and where to insert the integer that makes the resulting name unique.

If you add more photos in the same folder have photos you are renameing then the program does not recognise the new photos

The X button to delete a photo is confusing.

If possible replace with a universal symbol like a garbage can. X is normally associated with closing a program.

Other Formats

Why stop at photo renaming? The preview window can easily be adapted to preview other well-known formats such as office or Acrobat files.

Own Meta Date

Sometimes after a system crash and restoring files they might lose their original creation date. I would like to have the ability to still use the meta date and time function, but provide the date as I remembered it instead of the incorrect meta...

How about a program where you identify the face of a person (say John) or some object in a photo and then the program goes through a batch of photos and uses "John" plus the photo date-time as the new name of the photo.

be able to change just the file extension.

I make 3D images, so a side-by-side "jpg" can be a "jps" file, which is then recognised by e.g. my 3D tablet
